CAMduct Translator is operated by KADUCT LTD. For the purposes of UK data-protection law, KADUCT LTD is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

When you create an account or use CAMduct Translator, we may collect and process:

• Account information — including your email address and, where you use Google Sign-In, your name and basic Google profile information.
• Saved mappings and settings — including fabrication mappings, replacement values, configuration choices and preferences that you save to your account.
• Subscription and billing information — including your Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, billing status and related transaction records. Stripe processes your card details, and we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Authentication information — including session identifiers and information required to keep you securely signed in.
• Technical information — including IP address, browser and device information, request times, security records, application errors and standard server logs.
• Communications — information you provide when you contact us regarding your account, the service or a support request.

Uploaded CAMduct files and data

CAMduct text or files that you submit are processed solely to scan the contents, apply your selected mappings and generate the translated output that you request.

We do not use the contents of your uploaded files for advertising, marketing, profiling, artificial-intelligence training or any purpose unrelated to operating CAMduct Translator.

Temporary copies of submitted files, text or generated data may exist briefly in your browser cache, browser memory, server memory, temporary storage, application logs or other technical caches while your request is processed or while faults are investigated. Any such data is used only to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service and is not intentionally used for an unrelated or malicious purpose.

We do not intentionally retain complete CAMduct job contents as part of your permanent account record. However, your saved mappings, settings and preferences are retained so they can be reused on future jobs.

How we use your information

We use personal information where necessary to:

• create and administer your account;
• authenticate you and maintain a secure session;
• provide the CAMduct translation service;
• store and apply your saved mappings and settings;
• administer subscriptions, trials and payments;
• send sign-in links and essential account communications;
• respond to support enquiries;
• diagnose faults, prevent misuse and secure the service; and
• comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Our lawful bases

Depending on the processing involved, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

• Contract — where processing is necessary to create your account, provide the service, save your requested settings or administer your subscription.
• Legitimate interests — where necessary to operate, maintain, secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent fraud or misuse and respond to enquiries.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We use a limited number of service providers to operate CAMduct Translator. These may include:

• Amazon Web Services — application hosting, databases, processing, storage, security and technical logging.
• Stripe — payment processing, subscription management and fraud prevention.
• Google — where you choose to sign in using your Google account.
• Namecheap Private Email — delivery of sign-in links and essential account communications.

We may also disclose information where required by law, where necessary to protect the service or our legal rights, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal safeguard or recognised transfer mechanism applies.

How long we keep information

We retain account information, saved mappings and settings while your account remains active and for a limited period afterward where necessary to close the account, maintain security, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.

Billing and transaction records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting and other applicable laws. Technical and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics and service administration.

Cookies and similar technologies

CAMduct Translator uses essential cookies or similar technologies to authenticate users, maintain secure sessions and provide the service. These technologies are not used by KADUCT LTD for behavioural advertising.

Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using the service. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
